My tips for the last week of school:
Make cleaning and closing the kitchen part of their mark but DON'T make it the last day of school!
My suggestions for the last 4 days of school along with FCS National Standards:
Day 4 - Make a Cake, Make Buttercream Icing
8.5.3 Demonstrate knowledge of portion control and proper scaling and measurement techniques
Day 3 - Decorate the Cake
8.5.10 Prepare breads, baked goods and desserts using safe handling and professional preparation techniques.
Day 2 - Kitchen Deep Clean
8.2.10 Demonstrate safe and environmentally responsible waste disposal and recycling methods.
8.2 Demonstrate food safety and sanitation procedures.
8.3.3 Demonstrate procedures for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, serving dishes, glassware, and utensils to meet industry standards and OSHA requirements.
Day 1 - Last Day! Have a Party, Eat Cake, Play Games
