What inspires me...
Hello, I'm Stephanie. I started Fork And Knife Teacher about 5 years ago when I was on Maternity Leave with my 5th child.
I wanted to share materials that I wish I had when I started teaching high school foods classes. With 20 years of working in the hospitality industry I had the head knowledge but not the notes, power points or posters to communicate it.
So, I decided to develop teaching tools for Family Consumer Science, Foods and Culinary teachers. Most of my resources focus on customer service, baking, culinary and some sewing.
Fork and Knife Teacher is a part time adventure. Full time I am a mother to 6 and High School Foods teacher.
When I am not updating resources or taking kids to birthday parties my husband and I renovate our family’s 1960s cabin home.

I am of course a mama to a bunch of amazing kiddos.
Married for 20 years to the most amazing man I have ever met!
I live in Canada, born and raised but did all my post secondary (Undergrad and Masters) in the USA.
I also lived in England shout out to Lancashire. As well as Western Canada. Hello Lake Louise and Banff!
My favorite people to visit though are the lovely southerners in South Carolina and Georgia where my husband is from.
Working in hotels for 20 years I still miss the discounts, and love clean towels and little soaps when I travel.
